About

RevereTV was established on June 1st 2008 as a non-profit 501(c)(3) based organization. Since then, RevereTV has been responsible for the management and operation of the Public, Education and Government Access channels for the City of Revere. Primarily funded by franchise fees passed through from the current cable provider, Comcast. RevereTV is Revere’s Media Center, providing resources, training, and channel time to members of the Revere community.

Mission Statement

RevereTV’s mission is to provide the community with access to electronic media, training and channel time so that members have a forum to communicate their ideas, information, and concerns to the community-at-large. RevereTV strives to involve the diverse population of Revere as producers and viewers, and to strengthen its efforts through collaborations with a wide variety of community institutions

Staff

Executive Director

Robert Dunbar began his career in community media in Seattle, WA in the mid 1990’s and continued to work at SCANTV until August of 2007 where the former Rhode Islander returned to New England. At first assisting with the start up of a media center in Newburyport, MA then lead  the transition from a cable run access center to a non-profit in Revere in the summer of 2008. Robert was later hired as the Executive Director of RevereTV in September 2008 where he has held that position since.



Director of Community Media

Andrew’s passion for creating media goes all the way back to a film class he took in high school. After graduating from UMASS Amherst he has spent the bulk of his career working for public access television stations across the North Shore. The two most rewarding parts of his job are: A) teaching aspiring filmmakers the skills they need to succeed in the industry and B) using his skills in video production to highlight local people, places and important organizations. Andrew has worked for RevereTV since 2017.





Playback & Scheduling

Jessica is RevereTV’s Programming Coordinator. She started working at RevereTV in 2014 through 2016, then came back to the studio in 2019. She is a graduate of Revere High School, has a Bachelor of Arts in Broadcast Journalism, and a Master of Education in Instructional Technology. Social Media & Production Facilitator

Allie is RevereTV’s production coordinator and social media manager. She began volunteering at the studio in 2018 and joined the team in 2021. In her role, she enjoys working with others to develop and bring a range of creative projects to life. Allie holds a bachelor’s degree in Interrelated Media and Fashion Design from the Massachusetts College of Art and Design. In her free time, she is passionate about creating art and music.

RevereTV Board Members

Chair

Mark Ferrante, a lifelong resident of Revere, is the Director of Problem Management at Fidelity Investments. He has extensive experience in the day to day operations for desktop, voice, and data services.
A 1976 graduate of Revere High, he holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Suffolk University. Mark is a Trustee and Treasurer for the Revere Public Library. He is a past president of the St. Anthony’s Holy Name Society and takes an active role in volunteering his time to the Revere Recreation Department for city events.


Vice-Chair

Paul Amato is a lifelong resident of Revere. In 1982 he graduated from Revere High School and then partnered with his friend to buy and operate Repro Video Productions. For the past 19 years he has been producing and creating video productions, commercials and weddings. Some of Paul’s clients include WRKO, MGH, Massachusetts Nursing Association and many others in the Boston area. As part of running his business, Paul understands the importance of keeping up to date on technology and equipment to produce video. In his spare time Paul enjoys playing guitar, working on his car and barbecuing on the weekends.

Treasurer

Dr. Cataldo has been a lifelong resident of Revere and had maintained a dental practice in the City for over 30 years. He has four children: Gennaro, Leah, Rosette and John. In addition he has nine grandchildren. Dr. Cataldo is a Graduate of Tufts University, having received both his Bachelor of Science degree (1963) and a D.M.D. degree (1967, cum laude) and has a Master of Science Degree in Biostatistics from Harvard University (1972).
Dr. Cataldo holds the position of Professor of General Dentistry at Boston University School of Dental Medicine. He is Course Director of Esthetic Restorative Dentistry and Director of Video Services. He has been involved with the academic community since 1967 and lectures nationally at many major dental meetings throughout the Country on Lumineers.

Dr. Cataldo is a member of several civic and professional organizations including the Saint Anthony’s Holy Name Society, the Revere Chamber of Commerce, Revere High School Scholarship Committee, the American Dental Association, the Massachusetts Dental Association and others. He has been elected as a Fellow in the American Academy of Dentistry and the International College of Dentistry and has served as Trustee to the Massachusetts Dental Society, the 4500 member organization representing dentistry in Massachusetts.

Secretary

Maria Serraino is a lifelong resident of Revere and graduate of Revere High School in 2010. She then moved to study Public Relations at Suffolk University receiving her Bachelor’s degree in 2014. At that time Maria decided to continue her education at Suffolk University in the Master of Arts, Public Relations and Advertising program and has since completed her degree in December 2015.
Currently, Maria works at the City of Revere Recreation Department assisting with social media, event planning and day-to-day operations. Her past experiences include Suffolk University’s Center for Community Engagement Department as a Public Relations Assistant and a TA for Suffolk University 101 (transition from high school to college).

John Cammarata was born in the Northend and moved to Revere as a youg man where he has been active in the community ever since. In his free time he enjoys listening to Elvis and a good Richies Slush.






Diana Cardona







Bob Marra is a lifelong resident of Revere, he is an attorney for MetLife Property & Casualty Insurance Company. A 1973 graduate of Revere High, he holds a Journalism degree from Boston University and received his JD from Suffolk University Law School.

As president of the North Shore Philharmonic Orchestra since 1990, he has organized the Orchestra’s annual Sounds of Christmas Concert at St. Anthony’s Church named in memory of his father, Robert Sr.

In his spare time he enjoys bicycling, photography, classical music, and taking his wife Janine’s yoga classes.
